Save your money and go to the other, nicer casinos in Phila. After playing 8 hours on a slot machine for the max bet I had to ask for a few dollars to be added to my card to get dinner. You do not get food offers, room offers, or comp dollars for your money. If you want to loose your money fast this is the place to go. Once inside the casino you notice a lot of security (due to the section of Philly that it's located in) there are a lot of different gangs that visit Sugarhouse. The valet drivers are very nice and they are about the only ones who are nice. It's scary to walk outside of the casino. Well Sugarhouse is located in one of the poorest sections in Phila. My husband and I enjoy going to the casino occasionally. When sugarhouse Casino first opened I was very excited as it is less than an hour away.
